MBABANE – The MTN League’s top three sides are all left with five games while the rest of the clubs are left with three, before the curtain closes with one team in RSSC United already relegated.

Leading is Royal Leopard who are five points ahead of second-placed Mbabane Swallows and would play third-placed Mbabane Highlanders tonight who are on third place and six points behind them. Highlanders are the hosts here and will be out to fight for the best result they can get, which is not losing as they did in the first round, going down 5-0.

It is a very tough game for both sides but Leopard are again the favourites to win it, given their rich form in the CAF Confederation Cup and their title aspirations as defending champions. The two sides’ coaches Ernest Mavuso and Sifiso ‘Nuro’ Ntibane have declared that every game was now a final and fans can expect fireworks for only E20 entrance fee. Below are their comments:

Ernest Mavuso

“Tuesday seems odd but we’re ready to take on Leopard. We know we’re the underdogs in the game but it must be understood that Highlanders have already achieved this season and that’s not to say we can’t keep on being ambitious. We can’t put pressure on ourselves but we’ll go there with a winning mentality and if we get a draw, it’d be a good result for us. I have every player available including the twins Fanelo and Lungelo who had gone with the National Under-23s. We’ll be ready to fight for a win as we take every game as seriously as possible till the end.”

Sifiso ‘Nuro’ Ntibane

“It’s yet another big game for us ahead of another on the weekend but one must say that at the moment, we’re prepared for Highlanders. Our CAF task on the weekend against AS Vita is not on our minds but Highlanders are, as we take it one game at a time. It is a final for us like we have treated every other game we play. The good thing is I have a full squad for the match so we’ll play to win and stay on top.”
