OVER 30 TAEKWONDO ARTISTS SHINE IN NATIONAL CHAMPS

MBABANE – Over 30 taekwondo artists were crowned champions in different categories during the national championships held on Saturday at the Correctional Services Gymnasium.

Swaziland Taekwondo Association (STASS) Vice Secretary Sizwe Mabuza said over 100 artists participated in the national championships.
“The standard and the attendance was encouraging. We hope that all the artists benefitted a lot from the tournament,” he said.

The association is one of those expected to send artists to the All Africa Games to be held in Congo in July. In 2011 Sithandile Dlamini and Sanele Ginindza won bronze medals during the All Africa Games held in Maputo.
