MBABANE – After a long break the MTN Premier League second round games are set to resume with a bang on Sunday as giants Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers have been scheduled to go to war.

The country’s Mecca, the Somhlolo National Stadium, has been set as the ground to host this alluring battle of the titans, a fierce rivalry dating decades back.

Kick-off is at 3:30pm and even though there will be five other games playing on the day, this battle will be the only match to be staged at Somhlolo.
It will not be one for the faint at heart, for capital city giants will be out to settle the score against the hub giants who have been a roll in 2015, after Wanderers won the first round encounter 1-0.

Adding fuel to the fire will be the jeers the ‘Weslians’ supporters directed at the mighty ‘Birds’ team and supporters after rallying behind Manzini Sundowns over the weekend, who booted Swallows out of a cup quarterfinal.

This game will also mark the start of a torrid four days for Swallows, who are set to meet log leaders and defending champions Royal Leopard on Wednesday, March 18, about four days after having faced Wanderers.

Meanwhile the PLS will also present a double header at Mavuso Sports Centre, with main matching featuring armed forces teams Green Mamba and Young Buffaloes.

There will also be exciting action in the fast flowing MTN First Division League.
