MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows CAF Champions League opponents Zesco United will arrive five days ahead of their first leg match.

The team is expected to arrive in the country tomorrow afternoon through His Majesty King Mswati III International Airport.
Swallows Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sibusiso Manana confirmed this yesterday.

He said they had met with Zesco United’s advance party that arrived in the country last week.
“The advance party confirmed that the team will arrive in the country on Wednesday (tomorrow) and be booked at Esibayeni Lodge. It is within their right to arrive early as the game is scheduled for Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium,” Manana said.

Fans will pay E40 to watch the clash that will kick-off at 3:30pm.
Manana said referees for the game will arrive on Saturday. He said the referees will come from Lesotho while the Match Commissioner will come from Botswana.

Meanwhile, Royal Leopard, who play South Africa’s ABSA Premiership League side Bidvest Wits in the CAF Confederations League, are expected to leave the country on Thursday.
The team PRO, Frank Hurube, said it is highly possible that they go to camp today.

“We are still to finalise the logistics of our trip to Bidvest. We will communicate before leaving the country. Our preparations are going well,” Hurube said. Royal Leopard play Bidvest on Valentine’s Day (February 14) at Bidvest Stadium and kick-off is at 6pm.
