ANGIE TOEPFER SHINES IN BWYA GOLF TOURNEY

MBABANE – Experienced female golfer Angie Toepfer, was among winners in the ninth edition of the Business Woman of the Year Awards (BWYA) golf tournament.

Nkonyeni Golf Estate outside Sidvokodvo was a hive of activity as over 15 golfers took to the greens to participate in the annual event on Thursday.
Results confirmed by organisers, Regional Excellence Development Initiative (REDI) revealed that the pair of Mzamo Dlamini and Phumi Zwane also stole the show in the fairway to win the longest drive.

Women

The tournament, partly meant to encourage women to play golf with the belief that they could clinch business deals on the course, was sponsored by Galp, Swaziland Royal Insurance Corporation (SRIC), Swaziland Electricity Company and Macmillan Swaziland.
The winners got various prizes, mainly electrical appliances.
