MANZINI – A senior manager at a furniture shop has been reported to the police after hiring a prophet to kill junior managers who were appealing their dismissal.
The shop in question has its shops countrywide as it is one of the oldest and most established shops in the furniture industry.

The manager, the Royal Swaziland Police (RSP) have confirmed, hired the prophet and allegedly asked him to see to it that he kills, through witchcraft, the three managers that she had recommended be fired from the their jobs.
The manager, name deliberately withheld until she is charged and appears before court, sought the services of the healer with the sole intention of getting rid of the three managers who at the time were appealing their dismissal with the Conciliation-Mediation and Arbitration Commission (CMAC).

The prophet has confirmed that he was engaged by the regional manager. He said he was approached by the manager stating that she wanted to end the appeal of the dismissals which had been launched by the three managers at CMAC.

Approached

The prophet instead approached the RSP where he made a recorded statement narrating how the senior manager sought his services and the details of the intended engagement.
The three managers claimed that the senior manager who was involved in their dismissal had approached a prophet and requested him to facilitate their (fired managers) death.
This was after the prophet, whose identity is known but will not be revealed to protect him, went to the police to confess on the consultation.

He did this after he declined to assist the manager who had allegedly explained to him that she suspected that the three were bewitching her.
In a recorded interview, the prophet confirmed that the manager came to him and explained that she would be in trouble if the dismissal was pursued.
“She also said the three were bewitching her so I should pray for them to die, something I refused to do,” he said.
The prophet said he had a gift to pray for almost all circumstances but mentioned that his conscious did not allow him to pray for people to die.

Called

The implicated manager was called and her version of the story was requested but she did not give it and promised to return a call to the reporter.
When called again yesterday, the manager said she had no comment on the matter.

Police Public Relations Officer Superintendent Wendy Hleta confirmed the matter and said the police launched an investigation and recorded all the necessary statements.
“We concluded our investigation and handed the docket over to the office of the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) for advice,” Hleta said.

What has got into Swaziland and its humble people?? Swaziland has changed from the better to the worse. How can a prophet agree to engage himself in such a bad act?
