LOVE GOD, NOT MONEY – KING
l His Majesty tells how he once met a rich man who didn’t pray
l Says 3 is an important number, jokes about being Mswati III
NGABEZWENI – His Majesty the King has warned the nation against loving money more than God.
Addressing about 500 pastors, he said, money could be stolen but the love of God was everlasting or eternal.
He said he once had an encounter with a wealthy person who told him there was no need for him to pray because he was blessed with money. The king said he tried to advise the person to put God first because money was not a solution but God was.
The Ingwenyama said the wealthy person, whom he did not identify, continued to argue that people prayed for him because they could not live without him as he was the cornerstone of their economy.
He said he told the rich man that something was lacking in his life – meaning God almighty.
“There are people who love money more than God. These people think that money is the solution to everything.
“You are useless if you don’t have God. Your money is also useless if there is no God in your life,” said the king.
His Majesty also said pastors should baptise believers in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The King was preaching in response to Reverend Elijah Mtsetfwa’s school of thought that believers should be baptised only in the name of Jesus.
Reverend Mtsetfwa’s version of theology was seconded by Rev. Vusumuzi Mnisi who both told the king and pastors that pastors did not need to mention God and the Holy Spirit when baptising believers.
When His Majesty’s turn came to preach, he spoke about the significance of the holy trinity.
A majority of pastors clapped hands in support of His Majesty’s line of theology.
“Pastors, you have to appreciate the fact that Christianity is founded on the trinity and you cannot separate it,” he said.
He advised pastors to make sure the number ‘three (3)’ should always form the basis of their belief as it was vitally important in Christianity. He said God was one but manifested himself in three – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
His Majesty said Jesus Christ even told Simon Peter that he would deny Him three times before a rooster crowed.
He joked that he was also fortunate to be called King Mswati III.

We all know who is the rich man here, we are fools to believe this nonsense.
I am one individual who strongly believes that Kings and Queens should be heads of state in Africa - and not politicians - because the royals have God in them and can lead states Godly. Look what happens in our neighbour South Africa today. The country may be economically rich but morally the country is going to the dogs
