SPEEDING VEHICLE RUNS INGATJA OVER
MBABANE – Four members of the Ingatja regiment were knocked down by a speeding vehicle in Ezulwini.
They were all admitted to the Mbabane Government Hospital after the accident yesterday at around 1:30pm.
The accident happened near the Gables.
Information gathered was that two of the injured are aged 17 and the other two 19. They are said to have gone shopping at the Gables when they were knocked down by the van.
The driver of the vehicle will today appear at the Mbabane Magistrates Court.
Police Public Relations Officer Superintendent Wendy Hleta confirmed the matter.
“The driver will appear before court today and police are still investigating. The accident survivors are currently admitted to the Mbabane Government Hospital,” she said.
Ludzidzini acting Governor Timothy Velabo Mtetwa confirmed the accident.
He said the matter has been reported to the relevant authorities.
