ICE BLOCK SELLING WOMAN WINS E25 000

MBABANE – An unemployed woman won E25 000 in the Win Big competition courtesy of the Times of Swaziland, Swazi Post and Premier Swazi Bakeries.


The draw was held at the Times of Swaziland’s offices shortly after 2pm. It was conducted by representatives from the three companies.
Simangele Tsabedze (44) became the luckiest woman in the country as she went away with the first price of the draw which was E25000.


She makes a living by only selling ice blocks to primary schools pupils.
When called for an interview,Tsabedze was shocked such that she could not fluently speak but kept on saying, “Hello! Uyakhatheka babe, angiva usti ngiwinile”?
She said she would use the money to start a business.


“Money has been my biggest challenge because I have been dreaming about owning one business but could not find the capital. Now that I have won this money, my dream has come true,” said Tsabedze.
