DAD RAPES CHILD (5), RECORDS, SENDS VIDEO TO BABY MAMA

MANZINI- In a nerve-wrecking discovery, a father has been arrested for reportedly raping his five-year-old daughter and recording a pornographic video of the act, which he sent to the mother of the child, to get back at her.

*Simiso, a 31-year-old man who hails from the Manzini Region under Chief Shishi II, reportedly did the act on November 11, when he indecently sexually assaulted his daughter *Khwezi and further recorded a pornographic video with a cellphone, that he then sent to the minor’s mother. It was gathered that Simiso did this in retaliation after they did not see eye-to-eye with the mother of his child. In the pornographic video, it is said the minor girl is seen crying from the pain, inflicted by her father.

The accused appeared before Acting Manzini Magistrate, Sindisile Zwane, where he faced two counts under the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence (SODV) Act. According to the charge sheet in count one, Simiso wrongfully, unlawfully and intentionally had sexual intercourse with Khwezi and contravened the SODV Act. The aggravating factors further stipulate that the accused is the biological father of the minor, who has a duty to protect her by reason of being her father.

Safety

In addition, it is highlighted that the offence occurred within the vicinity of the minor girl’s home, thus removing the concept of safety within her household. The father took advantage of his daughter, who is a minor aged five years, according to the charge sheet. Meanwhile in count two, Simiso faced the same charge of contravening the SODV Act, in that he wrongfully, unlawfully and intentionally recorded a pornographic video with a cellphone, wherein he had sexual intercourse with Khwezi, by indecently assaulting her. When his legal rights were explained to him, the father elected to conduct his own defence. He also pleaded guilty to both charges. He was remanded in custody until November 23.
