MBABANE – “Security officers are watching with a hawks eye any security threats.”

The above statement was made by the Minister of Education and Training, Lady Mabuza, when questioned about issues of safety during the examinations, following the current political situation in the country.

Observed

Mabuza said currently there was no security threats that had been observed so far as pupils continued to learn. She said they were hoping pupils would peacefully sit for their external examinations without any disturbances. She stated that teachers and regional education officers (REOs) would work together to ensure that everyone was safe and the environment to sit for the examination was conducive.
