MBABANE – Government yeterday announced hiring of 56 nurses.

Speaking on Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Service (EBIS) Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Health Dr Simon Zwane said the hired nurses were expected to resume duties soon. Dr Zwane said the hiring of nurses was ongoing, stating that more would be hired next week. He added that government would also hire 13 doctors and environmental health officers next week. The hiring of the nurses came after a series of protests whereby the health practitioners demanded the hiring of some nurses who had their contracts terminated.
