JC, STD V RESULTS OUT BEFORE APRIL 5

MANZINI – Results for the Junior Certificate (JC) candidates and Eswatini Primary Certificate (EPC) are anticipated to be released before April 5.

This was revealed by Examinations Council of Eswatini (ECESWA) Communications Officer Hlengiwe Ndlovu, in response regarding the update of exams marking, for external classes yesterday. Ndlovu said they anticipated that the marking of JC exams would be concluded in approximately two weeks’ time. She said marking would be followed by other validation processes. She said; “The Examinations Council of  Eswatini is working around the clock to ensure that results for JC and EPC exams are released before April 5, which will be the starting date for the 2022 academic year for schools in the country”. When queried if there were any challenges encountered by markers yet, she said there were those which were unavoidable but they managed them. She did not elaborate further.

Meanwhile, Ndlovu highlighted that Grade VII pupils would be writing their last paper tomorrow, and they expected that the marking of the exam would be completed by March 16. She reiterated that marking was followed by other validation processes.
