895 NEW CASES IN ONE DAY
MBABANE – Yesterday, the COVID-19 cases escalated to 49 253 after a total of 895 new cases were recorded.
According to the daily report by the Ministry of Health, the new cases were recorded from 1 653 test results received by the ministry. The number of infections among the school-going age group was the highest as out of the 895, a total of 279 were of that age group.
As of yesterday, a total of 30 people were admitted to the country’s health facilities while the total number of active cases stood at 2 709. Meanwhile, COVID-19 related deaths remain at 1 248. The ministry also reported that a total of 279 998 people had fully vaccinated.
