EZULWINI – The Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini has been asked to address the issue of the incarcerated Members of Parliament (MPs).

This was said by Nkhaba MP Zakhele Magongo who said the on-going school protests were mainly about the release of the two MPs, Hosea MP Mduduzi Mabuza and Ngwempisi MP Mthandeni Dube. He said he had received calls that there were ongoing protests in schools under his constituency where the pupils called for the duo to be released.

“I am not under arrest, but the pupils are protesting in the schools in my constituency,” he said. He stated that the PM had to do something about the issue. On another note, some MPs also called for government to seriously consider the issue of cannabis as an economic driver.  Madlangempisi MP Sibusiso Nxumalo said the country had to do this as a matter of urgency.
