EZULWINI – MPs have made it clear that they want to debate the petitions given to them by their constituents in Parliament.

Mkhiweni MP, Michael Ndlelayekuphila Masuku, asked the Prime Minister, Cleopas Dlamini, when the petitions would be debated, because three months had lapsed since they each had them. The MPs said the PM needed to work with the office of the Speaker to address these.

Lomahasha MP Ndumiso Masimula asked the PM when the MPs would be given the chance to deliberate the many issues on the petitions. Ntfonjeni MP, Sifiso Magagula also asked the PM to assist the MPs in debating the petitions in the House as the constituents had already delivered them at Inkhundla level. Somntongo MP Dumisani Mbhamali also said the youth had sent them to deliberate the petitions and they were awaiting answers.
