LUDZIDZINI - His Majesty King Mswati III has called upon whosoever was perpetuating the ongoing protests which have resulted in vandalism and looting across the country to stop it.

Speaking through Acting Ludzidzini Governor Chief Lusendvo Fakudze at Ludzidzini Royal Residence yesterday, the King said the vandalism and looting was a setback to the country as it would result in huge job losses.
“The ongoing vandalism and looting is tantamount to killing emaSwati as it will result in huge job losses. The country has worked hard to attract investors into the country so that emaSwati could be employed. The investors were attracted by the peace and stability that has existed since the country gained independence. The violence will chase the investors away as no investor will be interested in investing in a violent State,” Fakudze said. He said Eswatini was blessed by God with the King. He said God gave Eswatini peace. “The King raised a lamp of peace during his birthday at Buhleni. The Monarch did this so that even those who were in darkness could see the light and walk without stumbling.

Perpetuating

“People should be doing good so that the country can live. Perpetuating children to engage in violence is not good. Parents should encourage children to do good so that they could grow in the manner they have been taught. Whosoever is responsible for the job losses is killing the people who will be jobless,” he said. “Emaswati are losing jobs because you have destroyed the businesses. What does that mean?” he asked. Fakudze said the nation was created by God, who said those who feared Him and did good would be accepted by Him irrespective of race. He asked what the country would say about the innocent souls that were killed by the perpetuators of violence.

He recalled a historic event where King Sobhuza II was approached by England when attacked by Germany which was under the leadership of Adolf Hitler at the time.  Fakudze said the King sent Prince Dabede with a stick and Mfundza Sukati with a surf. “The Germans realised that there were black people in the ship. The Germans planted bombs. England learnt about that and informed Dabede. Dabede raised the stick and the Germans lost track. They threw the bombs randomly,” he said. Fakudze said the Germans went to the Romans and requested for a solution to fight England. He stated that the Romans informed the Germans that they were only carrying the cross as a weapon. He mentioned that the Romans made it clear that weapon gave life to the people. Hitler crossed his finger that the Romans would reap what they saw.
