115 NEW COVID-19 CASES, 190 RECOVERIES

MBABANE – The country has a total of 3 525 confirmed COVID-19 cases following an addition of 115 cases yesterday. 

This was according to a statement released by Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi yesterday. 

There were 603 results that were received yesterday and from them; Hhohho had 55 new cases followed by Manzini with 39 while Shiselweni had 19 and two from the Lubombo Region. 

Symptoms 

Also, 65 of the cases had mild symptoms, 42 were asymptomatic while eight had a moderate disease. 

The youngest case was one in the age group of zero to nine years while the oldest was another case in the 80 years and above bracket. 

There were 190 recoveries that were registered yesterday, totalling 1 910. 

There were no deaths that were reported yesterday as the tally still stands at 63. This means active cases are 1 552 in the country. The figures reflect a 358 difference between active cases and recoveries, in favour of the latter.
