14 NEW CASES, TOTAL NOW AT 520

MBABANE – Out of 151 results, the country has recorded a total of 14 new positive COVID-19 cases.


This is according to the Ministry of Health’s statement which was issued yesterday by Minister Lizzie Nkosi.
According to the statement, 137 people tested negative for the virus, putting the total number of confirmed cases to 520 to date.
The cases are from Manzini, Hhohho, Shiselweni and Lubombo Regions.


Youngest


The youngest case is that of two nine-year-olds, one a male and another female, while the oldest is of a 56-year-old female from the Manzini Region.  
It was revealed that five patients presented with mild conditions while nine had asymptomatic conditions. In addition, there were 10 recoveries which increased the tally from 249 to 259.


The statement highlighted that the total number of active cases is 261 while deaths are four. Also, there are 14 patients who are registered for care while admitted cases are 120.
