LITTLE INCWALA GAINS MOMENTUM

LUDZIDZINI- As the little Incwala continues, so is the spirit of the warriors who continuously attend without fail.

During day 14 of the Little Incwala Ceremony, regiments were out in numbers celebrating the most significant event in the history of emaSwati.

The King has commissioned Emabutfo, who were dancing at the Buhleni Royal Residence to head back to Ngabezweni were they will meet up with others who were dancing in other royal residences across the country in preparation for the fetching of the sacred shrub (Lusekwane). He said it through Indvuna Phangijobo Matisa at Buhleni Royal Residence. 

The Little Incwala is a preamble of the annual Incwala Ceremony which is expected soon. The main Incwala day will be announced shortly after the commissioning of ingatja to fetch shrubs, which takes place in the full moon.

According to www.moongiant.com the next full moon is expected tomorrow. The main Incwala Ceremony is usually danced on the fourth day after the commissioning of the young boys to fetch the shrubs.
