MANZINI – Time was not an issue. The show dubbed ‘Killer Kau one-night in Eswatini’, that was hosted at the former White House Club,  now called Cloud 9, in Manzini, with the main act being the ‘Tholukuthi Hey’  hit-maker, literally started at 3am.

It was as if all was well with fun lovers as they still maintained their excitement while the crew, all the way from South Africa, came on stage.
The crew had Kamo Mphela, also known as the queen of Amapiano, the ‘Sukendleleni Jobe’ vocalist who wowed the crowd with her electrifying dance moves; her energy filled the whole club.

Her dress code did the most for male revellers, as she wore a white crop top with black pants and a cap.
The man of the moment - Killer Kau, whose real name is Sakhile Hlatshwayo, then took to the stage and the crowd went wild as they were mesmerised by his deep voice and ‘killer’ relevant dance moves.

Fun lovers sang along and also showed off crazy dance moves for the hour-long set.
The artists shared most of their hot releases from their latest Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Champagne’, and ‘Sandton’, to name a few.
It is worth nothing that the poster of the show stated that tickets would be sold at E150, but during the show, it was announced that they had reduced the price to E50 as some of the fun lovers were outside the club.

While revellers were still waiting for the main act to take centre stage, which was around 2am, the last announcement made was E20 entrance fee.
In an interview with one of the organisers, Mxolisi Mdlandla, he explained that the main acts were delayed by the bad weather as it was cloudy and drizzling.
He also shared that they had to lower the entrance fee because of the location and the people.

“I must say that the turnout was good considering that this was our first time in the country, but we had to reduce the entrance fee as we heard that people here pay E20 to enter the club.

‘‘We felt like it wouldn’t be fair for them to wait outside as we also want them to hear our extended play (EP) titled ‘After School’,” he said.
One of the revellers, Musa Dlamini, who came as early as 11pm, said he had fun as he wanted to see Killer Kau on stage.
“It was worth the wait, but I was not happy with the waiting as we were just chilling, listening to music,” he said.
Nombulelo Thwala also attested to having had fun.

“Kamo killed it,” she said smiling and imitating some of the dance moves Kamo performed.
The night ended on a high note with fun lovers still dancing and taking pictures with the ‘Sukendleleni Jobe’ hit makers.
