VISUALLY IMPAIRED WOMAN FINDS LOVE

MHLALENI - Her disability of being visually impaired did not stand in her way of finding love.

This is the love story of Sithembile Mbhamali (33), who fell in love with Mfanukhona Zakhele Ndlangamandla (44) about three years ago. For Ndlangamandla, it was love at first.
The two lovebirds said ‘I do’ in style on Sunday at an event held at Christ Supremacy Tabernacle Church, situated at Mhlaleni in the Manzini Region. Mbhamali is a committed member of the aforementioned church where she sings in the praise and worship team, while Ndlangamandla is a member of a Zion sector church. The event was graced by a number of visually impaired people, including members of a choir known as Christ Worshipers Gospel Choir which rendered some music during the function.

The choir normally performs at Swazi Plaza in Mbabane where they entertain the public. According to Mbhamali, who hails from Lavumisa, she was born with the disability. She also stated that she and Ndlangamandla have had a tremendous relationship. “We have an amazing relationship of peace, even in times of conflicts we are able to resolve them amicable,” she said. Mbhamali said her husband was God sent because he helped her out in almost everything she did. According to Ndlangamandla, he met his soulmate in town where she is a vendor, selling sweets on the streets.

He said when he saw her, it was just love at first sight and he couldn’t help but approach her and began to propose to her right away. “From the moment I laid my eyes on her, I just fell in love with her, and therefore I did not hesitate to propose love to her,” he said. He said they had been dating for three years before tying the knot and that they have a son together. When probed on how they cope as a family given the fact that Mbhamali was visually impaired, he said his wife was able to do house chores including washing clothes and cleaning the house.
“The only time where she requires my help is when she is cooking, otherwise she is able to perform almost all house chores.” 

Suffered

He said he had suffered numerous disappointments in the past and his girlfriends would simply dump him for no apparent reason.
