LIGHT RAINS WELCOME KING TO GENEVA

 GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Light rains welcomed His Majesty the King to Geneva, Switzerland yesterday where he will be attending the 108th Centenary Session of the International Labour Conference.


His Majesty is accompanied by Inkhosikati LaNgangaza while Minister of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Princess Sikhanyiso, Prince Masitsela, Princess Phumelele, Chief Zabeni Shiba and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Thuli Dladla, form part of the delegation that flew out through King Mswati III International airport in the early hours of yesterday.

 


Address


His Majesty is expected to address the ILO conference tomorrow and hold talks with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Behgiet Pacolli.
His itinerary includes meeting officials from PEG Aviation, who will make a presentation on airport infrastructure and aircraft maintenance facilities.
He will then be hosted to a dinner by the Taiwan delegation to the United Nations office, the Taiwan Mission to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and other international organisations.


The King is also expected to visit the ILO headquarters to meet departmental directors and heads, and meet the Secretary General of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) Marcelo Abi-Ramia Caetano.


Separate meetings with the Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Houlin Zhao, the Director General of the World Trade Organisation Roberto Azevedo and the Director General of the ILO Guy Ryder form part of the back-to-back schedule for the King.
