MBABANE - You can now book yourself at the prestigious Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is now fully operational.
This means that interested guests can book at the world class hotel at affordable prices.

However, means to ascertain the exact booking prices were futile.
When asked to substantiate the affordable prices, a response from the hotel management was that ‘rates generally vary depending on the season, but as a new property, we have positioned ourselves with proper market penetration strategy. Our rates are very competitive and affordable’.

The operations of the hotel were announced by the hotel’s General Manager, Christine Ndlovu, when welcoming the first guests, Mancoba Dlamini and his wife yesterday.

Welcomed

Upon arrival at the hotel at around 3pm, the couple, which was clad in traditional regalia, was welcomed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Service Pension Fund, Langalakhe Dlamini and the general manager. They were ushered to the sofas where they were provided with soft drinks.
They then posed for a group photo with the staff members before they proceeded to their room through the lift.

“Is this the way to welcome guests in this hotel?” asked one of those who witnessed the couple’s warm welcome.
The newly-established Hilton Garden Inn, which is the first to operate in the Kingdom of Eswatini, consists of 124 guestrooms. It occupies one of the country’s most iconic buildings, known as the ‘Ship Out of the Ocean’ in homage to its grand design and distinctive curved features.

The new hotel joined Hilton’s award-winning, midscale Hilton Garden Inn brand which boasts more that 800 properties across 40 countries around the world, with five of its hotels now open on the African continent. The hotel is fully-equipped with a full-service restaurant, offering a range of international dishes and a full bar to unwind at the end of a busy day.

Guests could also benefit from 24/7 snacks and grab-and-go items as well as evening room service.
Hilton Garden Inn is located within the Central Business District, a walking distance from several government ministries, embassies, the Mbabane Government Hospital and Mbabane Clinic. It is also close to The Mall and Corporate Place, a leading retail centre in the city.

The property address on Mhlambanyatsi Road provides ease of access as the prime main road into the south of the city and connects directly to MR3 motorway which links the country with neighboring South Africa.
