MANZINI - Did AM Recruitment Services conveniently ignore some of the incumbent Matsapha Town Council’s Corporate Services Manager (CSM), Princess Kholwaphi’s academic credentials during the recruitment process?
This is one of the questions which need to be answered at the end of the ongoing Commission of Inquiry into the affairs of Matsapha Town Council.

AM Recruitment Service is the consultancy company which was given the task to carry out the recruitment process of the CSM.
Following previous submissions by other witnesses, including Matsapha Town Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lucky Sukati, which suggested that council hired an allegedly unqualified CSM, since the princess submitted affidavits instead of a certificate, the incumbent officer has broken her silence.

delivering

The incumbent officer did this by delivering both oral and written submissions to the commission about the matter.
She alleged to the commission that she might not be fully aware of organisational dynamics that were prevalent in the town council during the recruitment process.
However, she claimed that she was disturbed to note that it seemed council did not get the true story on her academic credentials.

Therefore, she submitted that she allegedly studied a Bachelor’s Degree with Oxford Brookes University (United Kingdom) between 1996, 1997 and 1999.

through

She alleged that she studied this course on full time bases through Damelin Degree Campus in South Africa.
Upon completing the programme, the CSM alleged that she was conferred with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in Marketing and Business Management.
Thereafter, she alleged that she returned her degree to Oxford Brookes (through Damelin Campus) because it was misspelt as it read Kholwaphi instead of Kholwaphi.
“I pursued the matter of the original degree and when I returned to Eswatini in 2001, Damelin Degree Campus gave me a letter stating that I have completed my degree and graduated but was waiting for my certificate,” she submitted.
