MBABANE – A man who completed school last year was found in possession of a knife while in the presence of Imbali.

Mcolisi Mndzebele pleaded guilty to charges of being found in possession of a weapon while in public. He informed Magistrate Lenhle Zulu that he had stolen the knife and he was going to give it to another person as a gift.

Mndzebele pleaded for the court’s mercy, stating that it was the first time he carried a knife. “I was walking down the street and there were a number of maidens when the police officer stopped me and searched me and found the knife.

This will not happen ever again. I passed three subjects last year and I was planning on studying decor as I sometimes get part-time jobs doing that,” Mndzebele said. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 months imprisonment with a fine option of E1 000.
