MBABANE – A manager of Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE) is allegedly on the verge of leaving his wife for the woman who was the maid of honour during their wedding.

Sikhumbuzo Dlamini (42), who is the General Manager Research and Policy of CBE and his wife Samukelisiwe (39) are currently embroiled in a divorce dispute which is pending at the Mbabane Magistrates Court.

Samukelisiwe alleged that her husband openly informed her that he was going to marry one Sharol Nxumalo, who was the maid of honour during their wedding.
According to Samukelisiwe, Sikhumbuzo allegedly made no secret of his love relationship with Nxumalo. The husband and wife now live apart while the divorce proceedings are pending in court.

The veracity of these allegations is still to be tested in court. Sikhumbuzo is yet to file a response to the allegations. Samkelisiwe is represented by Sabela Dlamini of Magagula and Hlophe Attorneys.

Affair

Samkeliswe said she was not happy that her children, who were born of the marriage, were exposed to her husband’s love affair with Nxumalo when they visit him at his place of residence.

“The respondent (Sikhumbuzo) conducts an open relationship with the said Sharol Nxumalo to whom the children are exposed when he takes them away. To make things worse, Sharol Nxumalo was maid of honour in my wedding to the respondent,” she submitted.

Samukelisiwe has taken her husband to the High Court where she is seeking an order that Sikhumbuzo be interdicted from the disposal of the assets they jointly own since they were married in community of property.
She also wants the court to compel her husband to fully disclose to her all assets of their matrimonial joint estate which are either registered in his name or over which he has control.
