TRUCK DRIVER RAMS 3, KILLS 2 BROTHERS OVER WOMAN

MBABANE – An alleged heated argument at a drinking spot following a love triangle, has led to the death of two siblings.

The incident allegedly occurred at Malutha near Bhunya in the Manzini Region, at about 1am on Sunday, where a man ran over the two brothers with his vehicle, after they allegedly left with his girlfriend.
The suspect will not be named as he is still to appear in court today.

The two siblings, Luke and Maphunyuka Lokotfwako, allegedly enjoyed their drinks at a popular bar and were joined by the unidentified woman, something which sparked an argument with the suspect.
The older brother was aged 32 years while the younger one was allegedly in his 20s.

It has been alleged that the argument was fuelled by the fact that the suspect allegedly argued that the woman belonged to him, as he had all along been buying and enjoying drinks with her.
The woman’s age could not be ascertained but it has been alleged that she was romantically involved with both the suspect and one of the two brothers.    

After the intense argument, the suspect is said to have left the bar and walked towards his vehicle, a Toyota truck, while screaming in anger and threatening to deal with the two.
One of the siblings allegedly walked towards him to ask why he had embarrassed them inside the bar by claiming that the woman was his.

It was alleged that as he was arguing  and demanding answers, he was accidentally hit by the mirror of the truck in the process but the injury was not serious.
