LUDZELUDZE – Prime Minister (PM) Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini handed over an attractive E2 million church structure to the Ludzeludze community.
The PM was represented by the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM), Paul Dlamini at the Soweto Church of the Nazarene.

This structure has a capacity of over 500 worshippers with an impressive auditorium. In his speech which was read by the DPM, the PM regretted that he was unable to officially hand over the structure in person.
According to the PM, he was personally thrilled to see the construction of another member church of the Eswatini Church of the Nazarene. Dlamini said while not yet having seen it in bricks and mortar form, he has had the benefit of looking at photographs of the beautifully designed and capacious church.

He said with the building of the physical structure completed, the church would now see its membership continue to grow.
The PM emphasised the point that government welcomed equally every religion and denomination within each religion, provided they engaged people in a spirit of peaceful and harmonious co-existence.
This dimension, he said, had in recent years become important to sustaining peace and stability in society, allowing everyone an open and entirely safe opportunity for worship in their religion of choice.

“The vision of the church was to make Christ-like disciples and to teach holiness living. Our Christian faith motivates us to adhere to good moral standards and decent caring behaviour.”
He said the church was reminding us of the importance of sustaining the key values of honesty, caring for the disadvantaged and continuing to denounce the physical and mental abuse of others. The PM said it was encouraging to have seen Parliament recently completing its approval process for an important piece of legislation; the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Bill.

While welcoming this milestone, Dlamini said the nation should be aware of the need to achieve more in terms of protecting the innocent in society.
He said there now had to be a universal and all- encompassing denouncement of the evil act of killing a human being for ritual purposes and participation as a recipient in the aftermath.
Dlamini said the act of acquiring human body parts in this manner achieved absolutely nothing other than creating devastating tragedy for the family of the victim.

“For the perpetrators and recipients of such evil acts, let me make it clear that you will face the full wrath, not only of the justice system but also of God who sees everything.”
He said he took note of some of the finishing materials that the church needed; tiling, ceiling work, furniture and an upgraded personal address system. He said it was his anticipation that the church would obtain and install these important final measures for the project as soon as possible.
