PIGG’S PEAK – The name of five-year-old abducted Nkhosinaye Dlamini may mean ‘God is with her’ but her lifeless body was discovered abandoned and alone in a river, decomposed, appearing mutilated and partly burnt.

Yesterday ended the 10-day search as her decomposed body was discovered less than five kilometres away from where she was abducted.

The body was discovered at a place known as Msahweni near Matsamo at around 9am.
Nkhosinaye was abducted on April 30, 2018 while playing a game of ‘touch’ with her friends near her mother’s marital homestead with some friends.

While some of her friends where hiding under trees as part of the game to avoid being touched, a tall, dark man with dreadlocks appeared and snatched her.

Little did her friends know that, 10 days later, her body would be found partly burnt, decomposed and supposedly mutilated.
The discovery of her body has left the family of the deceased five-year-old girl shocked and bitter.

Her grandfather, Livingston Dlamini, revealed that the body appeared to have been burnt especially on the head.
Dlamini is the father-in-law of Lungile Tsabedze who is married to her son.
Dlamini’s son, however, is not the father of Nkhosinaye.

Tsabedze, when reached for comment, said she was not able to look at the body because she was distraught.
“I just couldn’t look at the body,” said Tsabedze.
