MBABANE – “I was never at any stage questioned or arrested by the police with regard to businessman Victor Gamedze’s murder.”

This  was said by Advocate Mduduzi ‘Tsotsi’ Mabila, following social media and public speculation that he was one of those who were questioned or detained by the police in connection with this matter.
“Let unmitigated liars say whatever,” said Advocate Mabila.

Mabila added that; “Labanye bantfu washo Mbhokane kutsi banenhlanga (some people are nosy).” He said following the untruthful reports that were circulating mainly on social media, his phone has been inundated with calls from members of the public, asking if he was linked to the murder of businessman and football administrator Gamedze.

Gamedze was gunned down at Ezulwini Galp Filling Station over a week ago.
While clearing his name, Mabila is reported to have yesterday at around 2pm approached the police where he asked them to set the record straight.  He went to the Royal Swaziland Police Headquarters where he is said to have met with some of the crack detectives who are part of the 10-man investigating team which was appointed to investigate Gamedze’s murder.

According to a well-placed source, Mabila’s plea to the police was for them to publicly set the record straight, as this was affecting his professional and personal life.
The sole reason Mabila approached the police yesterday was to demand that they set the record straight.

He mentioned that this would also affect his businesses as no one would agree to associate themselves with a person who was accused of being part of a mafia.
