MBABANE- The ongoing Incwala Ceremony will enter another phase today.

This will be the commencement of the weeding of the royal fields at Sihlabeni Royal Fields.
Initially, the most exciting event among warriors and Ingatja started this morning in a process known as kubungula (the beginning).
After the kubungula, the warriors will be informed where to proceed to until they reach the main field known as Infabantfu.

It will be after the weeding of Infabantfu that the King will disperse the warriors who have been at emalawini since the commencement of the Little Incwala.
The dispersal of the regiment means that the nation will  be free to fetch anything that grows in swampy areas such as lukhwane and incoboza.

Worth noting is that the Incwala Ceremony will continue until warriors are dispersed by the King. Even then the end of the event will be marked by the burning of the sacred shrubs.
The event will enter the next phase after the burning of the log which took place inside Ludzidzini Cattle Byre yesterday. Led by Ingatja from the armed forces, the young boys brought quality log from Lugogo Mountain.
Shortly after the burning of the log, Their Majesties were joined by the nation in the dancing of the ongoing Incwala Ceremony.
