MBABANE – ‘Love conquers all’ is the adage that kept Mbali and Sandile Dlamini together to the point of marriage.
The couple had to overcome many hurdles to eventually tie the knot as they share the same surname, Dlamini.

When the duo officially married, the groom and the bride repeated the similar surname, which was an indication that they were born Dlamini.
Sandile of Ezulwini, who is a police officer and Mbali of Baha’i, became one flesh at Sibane Hotel on Saturday.
The small yet intimate wedding ceremony was graced by the bride and the groo

m’s family members, who sent their deepest appreciation towards the step taken by the couple.
One of Mbali’s relatives was quoted saying, “We thought it was a joke but today it has become a reality.”
In his remarks, Pastor Clement Mahlaba, who officiated during the wedding said he was pleased to preside over the marriage.
“I entered into marriage with my wife in 1995 and are blessed with three children,” he said briefly.

Mahlaba stated that a true partner was a gift from God after He decided that it was not good for a man to be alone at the Garden of Eden.
He said it was for that reason that God made the first operation on Earth, after which He created a woman from man.
“Adam was filled with admiration when he saw Eve. God then made them become one flesh and blessed them. This is the true illustration that marriage is initiated by God and it is for life,” he said.
Mahlaba said not all women deserved to live with men as wives and urged that men should scrutinise their partners before engaging in marriage.
