NDZINGENI – When a woman walked in on an ongoing court session and threw a spray bottle of ‘holy water’ and insulted a magistrate, members of the public had two questions.

Who the woman and why was she so angry.
The woman has now been identified as Lindiwe Maphalala, who had been operating a preschool at Ndzingeni.
The preschool is the bone of contention in a dispute that involves a businessman identified as Anderson Mkhonta and Maphalala, according to previous court papers.

Maphalala allegedly blamed the magistrate court for failing to assist her in the ongoing dispute over the structure being used for the preschool.

Maphalala has been complaining that the dispute has been making it difficult for her preschool to operate, making it impossible for children enrolled there to graduate.

In June last year, according to court papers, Maphalala was evicted from the preschool following the dispute over the ownership of the land where the structure is built.

The preschool had about 15 children who were stranded at the time as they were removed before year end.
Parents who arrived to fetch their children were shocked to find their children locked out.

At the time of her eviction in 2016, she spoke with this reporter concerning the reasons of her eviction while a deputy sheriff stood by, ensuring that all items were removed from the structure she uses as the preschool.
