MBABANE – Yesterday’s rains resulted in the death of well-known Build-It Mbabane Branch Manager Cassim Ismail after he lost control of his car while driving down Malagwane Hill.

Director of Build-It, Sam Essa, confirmed the news when called yesterday and called for prayer for Ismail’s family in this moment of bereavement.
“We are with the police and we are bereaved. The man met an accident and he’s late. Asimuthandazele (let’s pray for him). He was a manager for the Mbabane branch,” Essa said.

He said he could not provide more information because they were currently bereaved.
Police Chief Information and Communications Officer Superintendent Khulani Mamba also confirmed Ismail’s death.
“There was a fatal accident at Malagwane and we gather that the person who died is a manager at Build-It.

He died on the spot after losing control of his vehicle as he drove down the road headed for Manzini. He was alone in the vehicle,” Mamba said. Mbabane Build-It is one of the capital city’s busiest, if not the busiest among all, hardware stores. Ismail was also seen involved in the Mbabane branch’s initiative of the under-13 Soccer Tournament, whose finals were recently held in August 26, 2017 at the National Football Association Technical Centre at Lobamba.

Meanwhile, another traffic accident occurred yesterday at Mnyokane where a Nissan vehicle was involved in a head-on-collision with a Toyota Quantum that was reportedly full with passengers.
