MBABANE – Three female pupils from a well-known private school around the capital city are stranded in South Africa after they left with bikers about three weeks ago.

Their parents have been wondering about the whereabouts of their teenage girls who are said to have left after the bikers’ rally weekend.
The pupils are said to have disappeared from home after the rally, with claims that they left with some of the bikers who had attended the event. Their parents have reported them missing to the police and the matter is under investigation.

According to one of the parents, the girls left the country through an informal crossing point in northern Hhohho, allegedly with the aid of the bikers who were in the country to be part of the rally.

The bikers are alleged to have first taken the children to Pretoria for a visit, before leaving them at a bed and breakfast (B&B) outlet in Piet Retief. The parent, who will not be named to protect the identity of the minor, stated that her daughter had left her travel document at home.

She said she received a text message from her daughter a few days after the rally, where the child informed her that she would be coming back home the following day.

The following day passed and she received another text from her child, where she was apologising for not coming back home.
Seeing that days were now turning into weeks, the parent then went to report her child missing at the police station. That is where she was given further details about the whole issue, as it was not only her child who had disappeared during the same period. Police though confirmed that they were investigating two cases of this nature.

After reporting the matter to the police, the minor then sent another message where she was asking for money to come back home as she was now in Nelspruit.
