DC CHAIR ACCUSED OF SLEEPING WITH TOM KIRK’S WIFE

MBABANE – Members of a disciplinary panel were left dumbfounded when the chairman was accused of allegedly having a sexual relationship with the wife of Matsapha businessman Tom Kirk.

Businessman and employee of Quadro Trust Mandla Ntshalintshali was the chairman during a disciplinary hearing on June 21, 2017 in which a cashier of Akunalutfo Bottle Store situated at Sigodvweni was suspected of causing a stock shortfall of E20 000.
The bottle store is owned by Quadro Trust and Kirk is one of the trustees.

The accusation was allegedly made by Sicelo Shabangu who represented the cashier, Nelisiwe Malinga, during the hearing.
Shabangu’s gripe was that Ntshalintshali had allegedly not been replaced as the chairman during the proceedings yet a new initiator, Mathokoza Mbhamali had taken over from Kirk.

Kirk alleged that Shabangu informed the chairperson that his client needed time to prepare for the matter and allegedly insulted Ntshalintshali before walking out of the hearing.

“While the initiator was making his submissions, the representative of the applicant mentioned to the chairman that the reason he had not been changed as chairman yet the initiator had been changed was because he was sleeping with the wife of the deponent in the answering affidavit (Kirk),” submitted Kirk.

In a confirmatory affidavit, Ntshalintshali confirmed that he was the chairman on June 14 when Shabangu, Malinga’s representative, walked out and on June 21 when Malinga’s representative accused him of sleeping with Kirk’s wife.
