MAID COMMITS SUICIDE INSIDE BOSS’S SHOWER

MBABANE – After a long day’s work, a woman got to her home to find her maid dangling from the rafters of a shower.

It is suspected that the maid ended her life after a tiff with her boyfriend.
Nomcebo Lukhele (20) from Hlatikhulu stood on a bucket, which she pushed away with a cleaning mop and hanged herself on Tuesday morning at Makholokholo, in the outskirts of Mbabane.

Before ending her life, Nomcebo wrote three suicide notes, one to her family, another to her friends, the other was for her lover, and on the top there was a note for her employer.
According to her employer, Gugu Mavimbela, Nomcebo had visited home on Friday, as she had been paid her salary and she returned on Monday evening.

Nomcebo had been employed for only a month at Mavimbela’s homestead.
Mavimbela, who was still shocked by the incident during the interview, said her employee did not seem to be having any problems when she returned as she played with her 16- month-old daughter, whom she took care of.

The homestead has three other houses that are being rented out.
Tenants of these houses share a shower that is adjoining a toilet and it is situated about 500 metres away from the main house belonging to Mavimbela.

Some of the tenants said they did not use the shower that much as they prefer bathing in their houses.
“We woke up in the morning and she took the child and fed her. She seemed normal like any other day.
