MBABANE – A married former Standard Bank manager has been interdicted from sending text messages to a female employee of Swaziland Beverages, Nontobeko Nxumalo, who is now being harassed by his wife.

The wife, Zodwa Dube, an employee of the Financial Service Regulatory Authority (FSRA) has also been interdicted from harassing and threatening Nxumalo whom she accuses of dating her husband.

The former Standard Bank Call Centre Manager, Sabelo Dube, was cited as the second respondent in the matter.
This comes after Nxumalo filed an urgent application at the Mbabane Magistrates Court, seeking an order that the wife be interdicted from threatening, harassing, interrupting and communicating with her.

She also wanted the court to interdict the husband from sending text messages and or communicating with her in whatever manner possible.
Nxumalo’s lawyer Hasso Magagula from Robinson Bertram informed the court that Zodwa was spreading unfounded rumours about Nxumalo and was in the process tarnishing her reputation.

“The first respondent (Zodwa) is threatening the applicant and spreading spurious and unwarranted allegations against the person of the applicant to her friends, colleagues and her family and thus creating an impression that the applicant is not a person of good standing in society and among her colleagues at work and at her place of employment,” argued the lawyer.

Giving a brief background of the matter, Nxumalo stated that  on February 2015, while she was working at MTN Clubhouse, she received a text message from Zodwa’s husband, Dube.
