SCHOOL REFUSES TO ADMIT ‘DEVIL WORSHIPPER’ (18)
MBABANE – A school has refused to admit a pupil after claims by the administration that he was demon possessed.
The decision was taken at Masibekela High School after fears that the alleged demons would spread to the rest of the pupils.
The 18-year-old pupil was previously enrolled at the school and there were claims that during that academic year other pupils were repeatedly attacked by what was suspected to be demons. The Head teacher of the school, Enoch Dlamini, confirmed their decision not to admit the said pupil in a recorded interview.
Dlamini said the resolution to turn away the pupil was reached during a school committee and parents meeting that was held at the school over the past weekend.
He said parents feared a repeat of incidents that occurred in 2013, where pupils were repeatedly attacked, presumably, by demons.
“In 2013, the pupil was possessed by demons which later spread to the other pupils in the school. We had a tough time engaging pastors to cast the demons away,” the head teacher said. Dlamini said the pupil created fear in the whole school when he told an English teacher that he would deal with her directly because she was disturbing him in his mission of recruiting other pupils to join the underground world.
“When you mention the name of the boy everybody wants to leave the school. Nobody knows what will happen if he is readmitted to the school,” he said.
Dlamini said the pupil was not registered at the school since he disappeared in September 2013.
He said the pupil never returned to the school for the whole of 2014 and nothing was communicated to the administration concerning his whereabouts.
