Siyendle in desperate need of Inkhundla
Sir,
Thank you for allowing me space in your widely read newspaper to voice out my concern on the issue to Tinkhundla centres around the country.
Mr Editor, there is this problem of the Tinkhundla centres in Swaziland. Some are very large, in the sense that they consists of many chiefdoms (imiphakatsi), yet others are too small.
Ensure
Take for example the Gege Inkhundla under newly elected legislator, Honourable MP Musa Kunene, which happens to be closer to me.
This Inkhundla centre is very large, it has 11 chiefdoms under it. I believe there is a need for a creation of another Inkhundla, to ensure efficiency of operations and better service delivery to every local community.
There is also the confusion that we encounter as residents of the Siyendle chiefdom.
We fall under the Gege Inkhundla, in the Shiselweni Region yet our chief is at Ngcoseni under the Ngwempisana Inkhundla, which is in the Manzini Region.
Responsible
When we pay tribute to the chief, we go to Ngcoseni under the Ngwempisana constituency, then for elections, we go to the Gege Inkhundla.
I plead with those in authority responsible for this to attend to it urgently, for the next elections to be conducted fairly and efficiently.
I think our Honourable MP Musa Kunene will partner and consider this as one of the assignments on his priority list, and convince us that ‘HE IS THE ONE’!
