HISTORY ALWAYS REPEATS ITSELF

Madam,

People seldom learn from the past, people refuse to learn from the past. That is why mistakes committed by past generations are repeated, that is why history always repeats itself. Yes, that is why history always repeats itself. From history we learn how proud leaders were humbled, from history we learn how arrogant leaders were shamed. From history we learn how despotic leaders were destroyed, today we have such leaders. History will repeat itself, history will repeat itself.

From the Bible we learn about God's dealings with the human race. We learn how those who used His name in vain were punished; we learn how those who usurped God's glory for themselves were shamed. We learn how God poured His wrath on them, yet we have supposed pastors and prophets committing the same mistakes. History will repeat itself. From history we learn that the oppressed always gain their freedom someday, from history we learn that the afflicted are rescued someday. Oppressors refuse to learn, thus history always repeats itself. Yes, history always repeats itself.
