EASIER SAID THAN DONE

Sir,

Doing things out of motivation is what get’s one started and habit is what keeps him going. Commitment is such a difficult thing to do for many, but a few are able to see that a steady life is possible only through it.
Each and every passing day people are being held hostage by their own words and their own promises. We end up complicating things instead of completing them because we still believe that saying the things we want makes them possible, but the time for that has long passed.

Promised

Eswatini citizens are promised heaven and earth, but nothing seems to come in handy. The issue of lacking true leaders is a massive one because many citizens are lured to the wrong directions in the hands of leaders who fully know that those fake promises will end up benefiting them.  Many innocent people out there are being held hostage by this kind of promises which they forcibly believe would eventually come to live. Promises have destroyed and will continue destroying many communities, nations and even the world if not put into action. Truth be told, blaming each other for our misfortunes is an every day occurring event.

Admit

Each and every one of us lack the ability to admit every mistake made in our presence, but we surely have the full potential to put blame on someone else. It is the easy way if course, but it’s reward is that it’s easy. Saying something to make our consciences clear is the same as putting the blame on somebody else knowing for a fact that it end up killing that same consciences we are trying to protect. There are two mistakes we tend to repeat daily, “we think without doing and we do without thinking.” Miserable our lives now are because of an old pandemic called ‘fear’. Fear is one of the reasons many are unable to alleviate their lives. The same fear we now live in is the result of those unfulfilled promises we made to ourselves back then.

Fear

The fear of taking a step forward is costing us a lot as a nation. They say the cave we are afraid to enter holds the treasure we seek, but how are we even going to enter it if we are scared of trying new things and creating our own way to the top.
