THE NEW ATLANTIS OR ‘NEW WORLD ORDER’

Sir Francis Bacon was born in London, England in 1561. He was considered by many to be the ‘father’ of modern scientific methods. But what many people may not be aware of is that Bacon was also considered by some people to be the original ‘founding father’ of the United States of America, as he was instrumental in establishing the then colonies of Virginia and Carolina. Bacon was also an author, and wrote a book titled ‘The New Atlantis’, which was published in 1627, and this has led some ‘conspiracy theorists’ to suggest that the United States was established to be the new Atlantis, or the ‘new world order’.

Destroyed

According to ancient Greek historian Plato, Atlantis was an island continent which was ruled by an advanced civilisation that was destroyed in a great cataclysmic event that took place thousands of years ago. Most people consider Atlantis to be a mere myth with no basis in reality, but what they are perhaps not aware of is that it is a recurring myth which is part of the folklore of several different cultures from all around the world. Indian legend refers to the lost continent of Kumari Kandam, the land of the ‘immortal serpents’, while the legends of the native American tribes of Central and South America refer to the destruction of Itzamana, or Kasskara, the dragon land of the red serpent god.

Chinese legend refers to the lost continent of Maligasima, while the legends of the natives of the Easter Islands refer to a lost continent called Hiva. In fact, the book of Ezekiel, in the Bible, has a remarkably similar story about the destruction of the kingdom of Tyre (Ezekiel 26-27). While some people argue that the ruins of Tyre can still be seen today in present day Lebanon, what needs to be pointed out is that Hiram was the king of Lebanon’s Tyre, while satan (the serpent dragon) was the king of the Tyre mentioned in the book of Ezekiel, as can be seen in Ezekiel 28: 12-17. As mentioned in the Bible, people would search for Tyre, but it will never be found. Even in this day and age, archeologists are still searching for evidence of Atlantis, but to no avail. According to some researchers, another lost continent known as Lumeria was said to be home to a race of serpent beings who were said to have a single eye in the centre of their foreheads (cyclopeans), and again, conspiracy theorists have likened this to the all seeing eye which is found on the great seal of the US.

Belong

Bacon himself was said to belong to a secret society called Rosicrucians, which is said to be another branch of freemasonry, and it is a known fact that most of the US founding fathers were themselves freemasons. Of course, the US, originally a white settler colony, has itself become increasingly intolerant of religious values and freedoms, and people like teachers have been fired for daring to pray or just for simply mentioning the name of Jesus in front of their pupils, and this is leading many to question whether it is really a nation which was formed upon biblical principles.
