THE RUSSIAN ROULETTE

Sir,

Let justice be done and corruption end. Let us each take it as a task at hand to make sure corruption comes to an end.

Let the law take its course to the expected end and let us not take the law into our own hands. The law seems to have limited ends though; the policeman who raped a victim would never arrest himself. The banker who committed fraud had enough to bribe the prosecutor.

The prosecutor who accepted a bribe would never turn himself in. The judge who let criminals go never thought to judge his dirty actions.
Corruption is too deep in the country, its perpetually paralysing the economy by the minute.

It’s like a disease crippling the country to its knees. Its contiguous, moving impeccably from nowhere to the policeman. The police to the prosecutor, from the prosecutor to the judge. No it’s more than that; it’s like a virus infecting everyone. It’s infecting every house, every office, every business, every ministry and worse, every court of law.

Corruption

It’s perpetually eating the country away and no, it’s not just a disease neither is it a virus. It’s corruption.
I propose a better judge, one with no heart. One who takes no bribe; one who will make everyone a police.

The Russian roulette. Everyone is a suspect of committing corruption. Let us each take a revolver, put in a bullet, turn the cylinder around, point it to our heads and pull the trigger. The innocent will survive and the corrupt will not.

Government though has all the bullets in, pointing the gun to its feet, not its head. Every attempt is a success, shooting the country to the ground with reckless spending, all driven by corruption. We are constantly losing blood by the minute and there is no donor to save us.
