NO ESCAPING THE LAW

Sir,

Thank you for allowing me space in your newspaper to share my opinion and view. Thanks to Isaac Newton’s scientific research, most people are now aware that every action results in an equal and opposite reaction. This is known as the law of course and effect.

Nothing can happen without the input of an intelligent mind, whether it is picking a flower or causing a big bang. It is one’s actions that will result in an equal and opposite reaction. Whatever you do, there will always be a result. Buildings are the result of the work of builders while music is the result of the work of musicians. Likewise, movement is the result of the use of energy.

Considering the fact that the laws which govern the universe were created by the infinitely intelligent mind of God and that we are also governed by these laws, it would be completely justifiable for the manufacturer of the universe to also give us a guide book to help us navigate these laws.

If one happened to find a book from the manufacturer with instructions like: do not kill, do not steal, do not cheat, do not judge etc, would it not make sense to follow them? Surely the manufacturer knows more about his own product than the consumer does.
If there is an equal and opposite reaction for every action, would it be wrong to suggest that the act of taking another’s life will also result in an equal and opposite reaction?

There are certain people whose agenda seems to be all about discrediting the book which the manufacturer of the universe and the invisible realms made available to those who he made in his likeness, labeling the instructions contained within it as the words of a cruel god which are intended to oppress the human spirit under a veil of ignorance and superstition.

Perhaps being commanded not to commit murder or cruelty is a form of oppression. However, whether one chooses to obey the instructions of the manufacturer or not, there is no escaping the law.

Sometimes people engage in criminal activities thinking that there will be no consequences so long as they do not get caught. Indeed, many murderers are walking around freely, thinking that they have gotten away with their crimes. But even though the consequences may not be immediate, one day they will.
The book called the Bible which was created by the creator of the universe states clearly that taking the life of another person is a sin. It also makes it clear that the wages of sin is death. This is not a form of oppressing people, it is simply explaining to them that there will be equal and opposite reaction for their actions.
You might get away with the crime for now, but unless you repent and ask for the forgiveness of the one who created the universe and the laws which govern it, which means accepting his gift of salvation in the blood which he shed on the cross, you will eventually face the consequences. It is only a matter of time!
