GOD SAYS, DO NOT CRY!

Sir,

Thank you for making your highly esteemed newspaper a conduit for this special message from the throne of the Almighty God to this tormented, distressed and heartbroken reader. Yes, this reader is weeping because they have been deserted by their loved ones, disappointed by their friends and hurting because they feel they have failed in life.

Whatever reason for your sob, dear reader, I have a message for you from God, the Master and Creator of the universe.  God says, in spite of what you are going through, don’t cry.

In the book of Luke 7:13, the Bible narrates a story of a widow who had lost her only son.  The Bible says, on their way to the graveyard to bury the widow’s son, the procession met Jesus Christ.  It continues to say, when Jesus met them, he saw the bereaved woman who was obviously weeping and He immediately had compassion on her.  My dear friend, as you read this, I want you to know that Jesus Christ has seen your tears and is empathising with you just like He did with this widow.

The widow’s close friends and relatives could not do much to help the woman save to comfort and counsel her to accept the irremediable situation as they proceeded to the graveyard. I don’t know what your friends and relatives have said and done without success to help you out of the painful situation you are in, dear reader, but thank God, through this message, you have met Jesus Christ who already knows about your situation and has compassion on you.

Jesus has sent me to tell you that he has seen your tears.  You might be weeping because you have just lost your job and are perusing the newspaper just because you are looking for a suitable job advertisement; but thank God that in your job search, you have come across a message from Jesus, the King of kings.  The message is simple: ‘don’t cry.’

You could be weeping because of a certain business deal which has suddenly gone sour and there are certain individuals you are blaming for the mess. Stop blaming anyone for your loss and find comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ has seen your tears and has a word for you in that sorrowful situation.

Listen my child, I know you have not made it to the next grade at school and a lot is being said about your failure.  You are even condemned and reproved by the people very close to you. May be your sponsor is even considering withdrawing the sponsorship and you are now confused and inconsolable but I have been sent to advise you to stop crying.

My dear sister, it is true that your husband has left you for another woman and I know you are very much hurting such that you are even having sleepless nights these days. But I implore you to take courage in knowing that Jesus Christ has seen those tears of yours and please don’t cry.

Yes, this man has left you with the kids and you are struggling raising them on your own but my God is saying weep not and get ready to celebrate.  You have cried long enough and he has seen your tears.

May be the doctors have written you off my dear brother.  they have told you that your sickness is incurable and you are even contemplating suicide because the pain is just  unbearable and all you do is just cry and cry, day and night.  Listen, suicide is not the answer but Jesus Christ of Nazareth is!  Stop weeping and have faith in God.  The Bible says, after Jesus had implored the widow to stop weeping, He proceeded to touch the bier and commanded the dead young man to come back to life to which he promptly responded.  I can imagine the joy in that procession! Jesus Christ had turned the situation around.  The sombre mood changed into a blissful one.  Jesus Christ had restored the widow’s hope.

Listen, dear reader, Jesus Christ shall restore your joy.  he shall restore your hope.  I may not know how this shall happen but I have been sent to tell you that Jesus Christ has seen your tears and He is beseeching you to stop crying and prepare to celebrate.

If you feel touched by this message and that it is relevant to your situation, please contact me on the number given below and I shall be glad to continue praying with you and help wherever possible.
