HOW LOVE FEELS

Sir,

It feels like a warm blanket on a cold day; it feels like you found a missing puzzle from your life, which you didn’t even know was missing.

You know you can tell your deepest darkest secrets without the fear of being judged or without scaring them off. Falling in love is hitting a stable rock.

No matter what happens, you know your partner is going to be right where you left them, like a solid rock.
Its having mental comfort and emotional security; it makes you fall in love with yourself, because the person you love sees something worth loving in you.

Falling in love is opening up emotionally to that one person, giving them access to your weakest vulnerabilities. It’s taking a leap of faith. Love is a complex emotion that has no one definition.

Love totally messes you up, it’s more like an emotional roller coaster ride that you never want to get off and it is either beautiful or depressing. Beautiful when the other person loves you back and depressing when the feeling isn’t returned.

Love is complex and the way we process it is very complicated; you only need one reason to hate someone, one lie, one broken promise but we need plenty of reasons to be truly in love.
When they’re not around you feel lost and incapable of keeping it together and all it takes is one call to get you excited.
Falling in love is the best feeling of all; everyone deserves to experience it at some point in their lifetime.

But just like no two loves are similar, neither can be the feeling of being in love. For some love grows and ebbs like the tide; while for others it comes in like a storm, leaving only destruction in its wake. It could warm you in its embrace or burn you with its bitterness.
For someone else it is weakness or vulnerability and telling what couldn’t be told. It could be a glance of acceptance, the murmured longings of the wishes of someone else’s heart, or a meal cooked together after a hard day’s work.

It could be a knock on your door, a speeding of your heart, a desire to give all. It could be like a song on repeat until you get what you want. It could be scary while exciting. Falling in love is sneaky.

Suddenly you have what the whole world wants. It is like having the world in your arms and still feeling that you never have everything you want.  It’s irritating because it makes you dependent, it’s scary. What if what you love doesn’t want you back? It’s lonely. It is when you say someone’s name when you have power. That’s the power of love.
