POWER SURGES DESTROY ELECTRIC APPLIANCES

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

Kindly forward to the Swaziland Electricity Company a problem of electricity power surging at Queensgate along Ben Dunn Street.
This is very inconvenient and poses danger to users of electricity because you may never know what will happen in our absence when the power supply keeps being interrupted.

This is what usually causes fire in many homesteads when electricity power keeps on surging in the absence of the home owner.
I am particularly concerned about my appliances especially the refrigerator which keeps making a clicking sound as a result of the power interruptions.

The power interruptions happen so fast that the bulb keeps flicking within a space of seconds and this causes the refrigerator to make a clicking sound which I am sure will damage its starter or cause fire in my absence. Yet should this happen, getting reimbursements from SEC is more difficult than climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.  I request SEC to attend to this problem before the undesirable happens.
