RACISM A THREAT TO WORLD PEACE

Sir,

Many people consider religion to be the main impediment of peace in the world and often make reference to the religious conflicts of the past, such as the crusades to back their views. While there is no denying the fact that there is a lot of religion related violence in the world today, it is mainly due to religious intolerance and is mainly perpetrated by people from countries which lack democratic values who seek to impose their religious ideologies on others.

In my view, racism is an even greater threat to world peace today, especially when it is used as a tool to promote xenophobic ideologies which have been the cause of some of the worst atrocities ever committed. When Adolf Hitler embarked on his campaign of death and destruction in Europe, it was not simply intended to average the humiliation of defeat suffered by Germany in the First World War which they themselves started.

It was actually an attempt at world domination through the decimation of those whom the Nazis considered to be ‘untermesch’ (sub-human people) as this world prevents any mixing of the pure ‘arjan’ blooded people with the ‘lower races’ and clean the earth for the so-called ‘master race’ which Hitler and his followers believed ere Nordic, Germanic and anglo-saxon  peoples of Northern Europe.

It is no secret that Hitler wished to form an ‘arjjan alliance’ with Britain which he considered a brother nation to Germany. This would have seen Britain and her vast colonial empire being subjugated by Germany who has since lost her empire in the First World War, a proposal which the British could not accept.

This led Hitler to try and bomb the British into submission and this in turn led to the entire British Empire declaring war on Germany which was already fighting a losing battle against Russia in the east. The rest, as they say, is history!
The Nazi ideology of a ‘superior race’ did not end with the war and there are still many neo-Nazi movements in existence in the world, even in countries which suffered immense losses in the fight against nazi Germany.

These movements still view people of African, Jewish or Asian descent, and some movements such as the anglo-Isarelism, actually go as far as to claim that the ‘arjan’ people are in fact the read descendants of the lost tribe of Israel-the very same Jews which they harbor so much hatred against.

According to the Bible, all men were created equally in the image of God. So is there such a thing as a ‘master race’ or a race of ‘God’s men’ that the Almighty God did not know about or did Hitler and his followers actually believe that they were the direct descendants of the angelic beings who interbred with human beings as described in the book of Genesis?
The man said to be behind the formation of the Germany’s national socialist (Nazi) party, Jorg Lanz Van Liebenfels and his Helena-Blavatsky’s ‘Theosophy’ inspired doctrine would suggest so.
